The Drakong Pixel Byte Attack on Titan Series is a clever crossover with Hyperkin that turns collectible anime blind boxes into genuinely functional gaming gear. At a surprising 25 grams, this micro controller is about the same size as a car key fob. Each blind box contains one of seven collectible designs, highlighting characters like Eren, Mikasa, Levi, Hange, and Sasha, along with an iconic Titan and a rare chase variant from the Attack On Titan Anime franchise.
Do not let the tiny frame deceive you; it packs a serious punch. You get a fully featured input layout with a tactile D pad, ABXY face buttons, dual left and right shoulder bumpers, plus a dedicated Turbo button. Wireless Bluetooth support links effortlessly to iOS, Android, PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and Linux. A physical three position switch makes jumping between mobile, console, and PC X Input modes totally seamless. A rechargeable internal lithium ion battery fuels up to 12 hours of non stop action via USB C.
Portability is where this little gamepad truly shines. A sturdy metal loop lets you clip it directly to a backpack or key ring so it stays out of the way until you need it. When you want to sneak in a quick commute session, the physical tactile feel beats touchscreen controls every single time.
For $24.99, it hits a sweet spot between anime memorabilia and reliable hardware. Hyperkin and Drakong built something that avoids feeling like a cheap novelty. Hunting for a specific favorite like Levi in mystery packaging always carries the risk of duplicate pulls, and dropping $150 on a full set might give casual buyers pause. However, getting a fleet of wireless Switch gamepads for that price is unbeatable if you need extra controllers for local Mario Kart nights or the monthly Smash Bros tournament.
Flexibility in how you buy them makes jumpstarting a collection or grabbing a quick gift remarkably easy. You can purchase these controllers individually as single standalone blind boxes if you want to test your luck, or grab them as a full set upfront to maximize your odds of scoring every single character design without relying entirely on random chance.
Beyond the thrill of the unboxing experience, having multiple purchasing options caters to both casual fans and serious collectors alike. Gamers looking for a simple, budget friendly backup pad can pick up a solitary box on a whim, while diehard fans looking to display the entire set alongside their anime figures can snag the bundle in one fell swoop.
Whether you love Attack on Titan, collect retro gadgets, or just want a tiny controller that actually performs, picking up at least one is a total win! I definitely would recommend picking up at least one of these little controllers as they truly are an amazing deal at their price point!
