SEGA and ATLUS have released a new story trailer for Persona 4 Revival, offering a closer look at the dark mysteries surrounding the rural Japanese town of Inaba.

Shown during the XBOX @ gamescom Broadcast 2026, the trailer follows a teenager who moves to Inaba, where a series of mysterious incidents soon begins to unfold. As the strange events continue, an ominous urban legend known as the Midnight Channel begins spreading throughout the town. According to the legend, the phenomenon serves as a portal to a mysterious and dangerous world.

Following the broadcast, XBOX also aired an exclusive trailer breakdown featuring P-STUDIO Director Kazuhisa Wada. During the presentation, Wada provided additional insight into Persona 4 Revival and discussed how the game is being developed to appeal to both newcomers and returning players.

Wada will also appear on the next episode of the Official XBOX Podcast, where he will take part in an extended discussion about Persona 4 Revival. The episode is scheduled to premiere on August 27 at 1 a.m. PT.

Persona 4 Revival is scheduled to launch on February 18, 2027, for XBOX Series X|S, XBOX on PC, PlayStation 5 and Steam. The game will also be available day one through XBOX Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, while supporting XBOX Play Anywhere.
