BAKUDO is bringing its unconventional blend of ball-sport combat and boss-rush action to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027, with publisher Shueisha Games and developer SAYIL GAMES confirming the new version alongside the previously announced PC release via Steam.

Set in a futuristic academy dedicated to the sport of BAKUDO, the sci-fi action game follows Yuria, a new student searching for her missing father. Her journey brings her into conflict with powerful rivals while uncovering secrets that could threaten the fate of the world.

Combat revolves around fast-paced ball-throwing techniques, with players facing formidable bosses and learning to read their movements to exploit weaknesses. The academy’s elite competitors, known as the Eight Stars, each bring their own fighting styles, requiring players to adapt their approach to overcome them.

BAKUDO is scheduled to launch for Nintendo Switch 2 and PC in 2027.
