TANUKI: Pon’s Summer is bringing its mail-delivery adventure to more platforms on November 10, with publisher CRITICAL REFLEX and developer Denkiworks confirming new versions for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game will also launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, with availability through Game Pass also confirmed.
Players take control of Pon, a tanuki working as a part-time mail carrier, who must spend the summer delivering letters and packages while earning enough money and collecting items to restore a local shrine before the Great Tanuki Festival. BMX riding is central to the experience, but there is more to do than simply make deliveries.
As Pon gets to know the locals, he can take part in activities ranging from baseball and fishing to sumo wrestling, bug catching, and making sushi. The money and rewards earned along the way can then be put toward rebuilding, upgrading, and decorating the shrine ahead of the end-of-summer celebration.
The adventure spans four towns inspired by Kyoto, Aomori, Sapporo, and Beppu, each offering its own quests and objectives. With a limited amount of time to prepare for the festival, Pon will need to balance his delivery work with the various activities and relationships that help fund the restoration.
TANUKI: Pon’s Summer launches November 10 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. It will also be available through Game Pass.
