Toot Games and Jackbox Games have announced My Arms Are Longer Now, a bizarre 2D stealth comedy about a thief whose unusually long, grotesque arm makes him exceptionally good at stealing just about anything. Revealed during the latest Nintendo Indie World Showcase, the game launches on March 11, 2027, for PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S.
Players will use their character’s unusually versatile appendage to swipe valuables, sneak past security, and cause as much trouble as possible without getting caught. Cash, bicycles, and even family pets are all fair game, with environmental puzzles providing opportunities to experiment with different ways to pull off each heist. The game’s distinctly Australian humour also promises plenty of ridiculous situations, including the possibility of stealing candy from a baby.
Avoiding detection will require more than simply reaching out and grabbing everything in sight, however. Players will need to make creative use of their surroundings, whether that means crawling through vents, reaching beneath seats, or disguising their arm with a sock to disarm a security guard. A detective who is increasingly losing his grip on the investigation will also be hot on the thief’s trail, adding another complication to each attempt at making a quick profit.
My Arms Are Longer Now marks the debut of developer Toot Games and the first game published by Jackbox Games as a publishing partner. Its combination of stealth mechanics, environmental puzzles, and deliberately crude comedy offers a decidedly unusual take on the heist genre when it arrives next March.
