It wasn’t too long ago that Aspyr Games phantom dropped Lord of the Rings: War In the North for consoles and PC. It gives players a taste of an adventure that originally released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but has never looked or played better than it does now. And soon enough, you’ll be able to own a physical copy of the game – and call it your “precious.”
Limited Run Games has confirmed that it is offering a physical version of War In the North, and that pre-orders will be open from October 2 through December 13. It’ll be selling for $49.99 for the standard version, and will be released on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch 2. And yes, the Switch 2 release will be full game on cart.
What’s more, die-hard collectors can look forward to a Deluxe Edition, which will be available for pre-order during the same time period. It’ll go for $79.99, and will include the game, a Wayfinder’s Leder booklet, a weathered letter with foreword by Jed Brophy, a Steelbook case and a collectible box. Yes!
Pre-orders will open later this week over at Limited Run Games’ website. For those who can’t wait, you can get the game digitally now for $19.99. Us? Physical forever, baby!
