Pipeworks has released a free Steam demo for Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered, giving fans a chance to revisit the classic kaiju fighting game ahead of its upcoming launch. The demo is available now, but players will need to act quickly, as it is only scheduled to remain available until October 27.

Originally released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2002, Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee is returning with remastered visuals and gameplay improvements. The demo lets players take control of Godzilla, Gigan, or King Ghidorah, with support for up to four local players and online one-on-one quick matches.

Players can also try Destruction Mode, which challenges them to cause as much damage to a city as possible while competing for the highest score. The full game will expand on the experience with 12 playable kaiju, eight locations featuring day and night variations, and both local and online multiplayer.

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered is scheduled to launch on November 3 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The free demo is available now on Steam until October 27.
