My Arcade has opened preorders for the Gamestation Retro Go, a new portable gaming system featuring more than 200 officially licensed classic games from Bandai Namco Entertainment, Capcom, Jaleco, and Piko Interactive. The handheld is priced at $199.99 USD and is scheduled to launch during the 2026 holiday season, with preorders now available through GameStop in the United States and EB Games Canada.
First unveiled at CES 2026 as part of the Gamestation Retro collection, the Gamestation Retro Go brings together a sizable selection of arcade and console classics in a portable package. Bandai Namco’s lineup includes PAC-MAN, GALAGA, RALLY-X, DIG DUG, and MAPPY, while Capcom contributes familiar favourites such as Street Fighter II, Mega Man, Final Fight, Strider, Bionic Commando, and 1942. The collection also features six versions of Street Fighter II and Mega Man games, alongside additional titles from Jaleco and Piko Interactive.
The Gamestation Retro Go features an 8-inch high-resolution display, a rechargeable battery rated for four to five hours of playtime, and built-in Wi-Fi for updates. Its SmartGlow control indication technology illuminates the controls required for each game, potentially making it easier for players to jump into unfamiliar arcade classics without having to learn every control scheme beforehand. The system also supports save options, while HDMI connectivity allows players to connect it to a television for a larger-screen experience.
The handheld supports one or two players, although multiplayer games require additional controllers sold separately. The package includes a charging cable, HDMI cable, AC adapter, and user guide.
Gamestation Retro Go is available to preorder for $199.99 USD through GameStop and through EB Games Canada. The system is expected to arrive during the 2026 holiday season.
