DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 is preparing to celebrate its 10th anniversary with one final Festival of Universes, giving players another opportunity to collect returning rewards and earn special items tied to the upcoming DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3.
Bandai Namco Entertainment America has announced that the Final Festival of Universes will begin on October 29 at 5 p.m. PDT. The event will let players increase their camaraderie levels with familiar characters, including Trunks, the Supreme Kai of Time, and Fu, while bringing back hard-to-obtain items and offering 25 times the usual number of Star Coins to spend on rewards.
Players who participate can also obtain a new commemorative Gi and medal created for the anniversary celebration. These items will have an additional purpose beyond XENOVERSE 2, as owning either one will allow players to unlock special rewards in DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3. The rewards will depend on which item players possess, and they will need to link their Bandai Namco ID to claim them once the new game launches in 2027.
Before the festivities begin, DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 will receive a free update on October 27, introducing new Login Bonus Rewards, special costumes, and an update to the Gallery of Time. Access to the Gallery of Time update requires the FUTURE SAGA Chapter 4 DLC.
Originally released in 2016, DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 has allowed players to create their own characters, explore Conton City, train under familiar faces from the Dragon Ball series, and fight to protect the flow of history. Its 10th anniversary celebration offers longtime players another chance to revisit the game, while the rewards connected to XENOVERSE 3 give the festivities a reason to look ahead to the franchise’s next chapter.
DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
