The challenges of building a medieval business empire are about to change in The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410, with the Early Access title receiving a new update on October 29. The upcoming patch will introduce improvements to business management, production, and the economy, alongside new options for managing family life and ensuring a dynasty’s survival across generations.

Business management is a major focus of the update, with changes to Master management giving players greater control over responsibilities and making it easier to oversee their growing enterprises. Production times are also being adjusted, while economic improvements will help distinguish individual cities, adding another consideration for merchants deciding where to manufacture and sell their goods.

The update also expands the game’s dynastic elements. Players will be able to remarry after losing a spouse, exercise greater control over choosing partners for their children, and encounter new events involving childbirth and inheritance. With family succession playing an important role in maintaining a dynasty’s influence, these additions offer more ways to shape the future of a growing business empire.

The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410 is currently available in Early Access on Steam for $29.99 USD or €29.99. Inspired by the original Europa 1400: The Guild, the remake combines business management and trade with political maneuvering, family relationships, and the pursuit of social influence in medieval Europe.

Players can establish businesses such as blacksmiths, alchemists, and tailors, expand their commercial operations, and compete for powerful political offices. Bribery, blackmail, and other underhanded tactics can help secure an advantage over rivals, while criminal activities such as theft and robbery offer alternative paths to wealth. Multiplayer for up to 12 players is also planned for the Early Access period.

The October 29 update continues the game’s development by refining the systems at the heart of its medieval life simulation, giving players more control over both their commercial operations and the family legacy they hope to leave behind.
