Bethesda has plenty in store for Fallout fans, with a new reality competition series, a major Fallout 76 update, and additional Fallout 4 content among the announcements made during this year’s Fallout Day celebration. The festivities also brought news of a milestone for Fallout 76, which has now reached 25 million players.

The biggest upcoming addition to Fallout 76 is World Pets, a free update launching on December 1. As its name suggests, the update will let players bring pets to their C.A.M.P.s, with cats, dogs, Radhogs, and even domesticated Deathclaws among the available companions. World Pets will also refresh the Skyline Valley region with new bounty-hunting content featuring Marshal Canton, a reprogrammed Robo-Brain. Bethesda has released an overview trailer featuring Creative Director Jon Rush and Production Director Bill LaCoste discussing what players can expect.

Bethesda is also extending the celebration to Fallout Shelter, which will receive new seasonal content inspired by Fallout Shelter: The Experiment. The reality competition series is set to premiere on Prime Video on January 13, 2027, putting contestants’ S.P.E.C.I.A.L. skills to the test as they live inside a real Vault. Players of the mobile game can also look forward to receiving a Baby Deathclaw pet for free later this year.

Meanwhile, Fallout 4 players have two new Creations to explore. FEVer Dreams, from Kinggath Creations, is a free escape room-style experience set in a secret military laboratory, challenging players to fight, solve puzzles, and race through its challenges. The adventure also features the returning voices of Courtenay Taylor and Brian T. Delaney. Hobgoblin Studios’ Command Override takes a different approach, allowing players to hack and remotely pilot robots while confronting a Gunner threat in a new RobCo-themed dungeon.

The celebration also includes a collaboration with Jones Soda through Project T.W.I.S.T., short for Taste-Worthiness Initiative for Shelter Transition. The initiative invites fans to vote on the flavor of Nuka-Cola Twist, giving the community a chance to influence this latest addition to Fallout‘s ever-expanding world. Voting is open through October 31 on the official Project T.W.I.S.T. website.

Beyond the in-game announcements, Bethesda is continuing its partnership with Dallas Pets Alive to promote animal adoption, including its annual presence at QuakeCon in Grapevine, Texas. The studio also confirmed that Fallout Day will head to Washington, D.C., in 2027, with ticket information still to come.

With Fallout 76 continuing to attract players, new community-made content arriving for Fallout 4, and the franchise expanding into reality television, Bethesda’s latest celebration demonstrates how much the series has grown beyond its original isometric RPG roots.
