Wales Interactive and Stormind Games have announced Sker: The Bleeding Veil, a new first-person survival horror game rooted in Welsh folklore. Set in the Sker universe, the game will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in spring 2027.
Set in 1924, Sker: The Bleeding Veil follows Gareth Morgan as he returns to the orphanage he knew as a child in search of his younger sister, Elin. Years after the events at Sker Hotel, Sister Gwenllian has reunited the former orphans under a belief tied to the Siren’s Song, leaving Gareth to uncover the disturbing truth behind what has transpired in his absence.
Survival will revolve around stealth, sound, and careful movement rather than direct combat. Players must evade blind stalkers that hunt by hearing, use sound to navigate their surroundings, and solve harmonic puzzles with Tuning Forks and other instruments. The Carillon and its interchangeable cylinders will also allow players to influence their pursuers, adding another layer to the game’s sound-based survival mechanics.
Developed by Wales Interactive, known for Maid of Sker, Sker Ritual, and Dead Reset, alongside Stormind Games, the studio behind The Remothered Trilogy, Sker: The Bleeding Veil is set to bring a new horror story to the series when it launches in spring 2027.
