Xbox has announced the Xbox Nano Controller, a compact new gamepad arriving November 4 for $49.99. Measuring just over five inches long and weighing 3.5 ounces, the controller is designed to offer a more portable option for players without sacrificing the standard gameplay inputs found on a traditional Xbox controller.
Despite its small size, the Xbox Nano Controller includes all 18 standard gameplay inputs and supports Xbox consoles, PC, iOS, Android, and select smart TVs. Pre-orders are available now through Xbox.com, with the launch planned for a wide range of markets, including Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and much of Europe. Additional territories will follow.
Xbox has also partnered with Meta on a holiday promotion in the United States. Customers who purchase a Quest headset will receive an Xbox Nano Controller and a two-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, with the subscription offer available to new members. The promotion gives prospective Quest owners another way to get into Xbox gaming alongside Meta’s virtual reality hardware.
More details about the controller are available through the official Xbox announcement.
