Publisher Raw Fury and developer Fury Studios have announced Kingdom III: Rising Realms, a new side-scrolling strategy and tower defense game and the latest entry in the Kingdom series. It will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam in 2027.
Kingdom III: Rising Realms takes place in a world shattered by an unknown catastrophe, with ruined buildings, barren lands, and scattered survivors left behind. Players take on the role of the Monarch, who wields the Crown of Creation and its legendary powers while attempting to rebuild a fallen kingdom.
Players will travel across unexplored, procedurally generated islands filled with ancient monuments, mythical creatures, and powerful artifacts. Along the way, they will recruit subjects and specialized Elite units to help restore their kingdom and defend it from the threats lurking across the world.
However, the dangers become even greater when night falls. The monstrous Greed continues to spread corruption throughout the land, while the sinister Greed King seeks to destroy the player’s kingdom and steal the Crown of Creation.
Kingdom III: Rising Realms will offer new strategic options as players decide how to approach each island and prepare their forces for the challenges ahead. Players can set sail with their choice of equipment and determine which islands to explore, while upgradeable Elites provide specialized abilities that can help overcome different threats.
The procedurally generated islands will feature different locations, creatures, monuments, and artifacts to discover, giving players new opportunities to strengthen their kingdom as they progress through their journey.
Kingdom III: Rising Realms is currently scheduled to launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
