Guitar rhythm game Stage Tour will launch on December 10 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, RedOctane Games has announced. Pre-orders for the game’s hardware and bundles are now available through the official Stage Tour website and participating retailers.
Developed by veterans of the original rhythm game era alongside creators from the wider music gaming community, Stage Tour aims to capture the appeal of classic guitar-based rhythm games while introducing new features and modes. The game will launch with more than 90 songs spanning six decades, over 180 authentic guitars from Gibson, Epiphone and Kramer, more than 50 bandmates, and support for up to four players locally.
The launch setlist includes music from artists such as The Rolling Stones, Metallica, Radiohead, The Cure, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mötley Crüe, Paramore and Olivia Rodrigo. RedOctane Games has now revealed another 20 songs, bringing the number of confirmed tracks to 45, with additional songs set to be announced through the Stage Tour Setlist Reveal series ahead of launch.
The newly confirmed tracks include Avril Lavigne’s “Bite Me,” BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy’s “RATATATA,” Bad Omens’ “Just Pretend,” Billy Talent’s “Red Flag,” The Clash’s “I Fought the Law,” The Cure’s “Just Like Heaven,” Def Leppard’s “Photograph,” Duran Duran’s “Rio,” Ghost’s “Square Hammer,” Megadeth’s “Tornado of Souls,” Metallica’s “Lux Æterna,” Mötley Crüe’s “Kickstart My Heart,” Muse’s “Starlight,” Olivia Rodrigo’s “ballad of a homeschooled girl,” Paramore’s “For a Pessimist, I’m Pretty Optimistic,” Radiohead’s “Just,” Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Dani California,” Slipknot’s “Psychosocial,” Weezer’s “Island in the Sun,” and ZZ Top’s “Sharp Dressed Man.”

Stage Tour also features a major collection of real-world instruments through a multi-year partnership with Gibson. More than 180 guitars from Gibson, Epiphone and Kramer will be available at launch, allowing players to unlock and collect instruments inspired by some of the most recognizable guitars in rock history.
Players can also build their own band from a roster of more than 50 bandmates, with different styles and skins creating more than 150 unlockable combinations.
The game is designed to be accessible to both newcomers and longtime rhythm game fans. Familiar modes such as Quickplay and Practice will be joined by Judgements, which focuses on accuracy, and Karaoke, a more casual option designed for players who simply want to sing along.
The biggest new addition is Tour Mode, an all-new roguelite-inspired single-player experience. Players will choose their path, select their bandmates and take their band on the road, with each tour offering a different experience. The mode is intended to provide a more replayable take on the traditional single-player progression found in music games, with additional details expected before launch.
Stage Tour supports a variety of control options, including Guitar Controllers, Drum Controllers, Microphones, standard gamepads, and keyboard and mouse. Rather than simply adapting the guitar experience to other control methods, the game features custom note charts designed around each input type.
Up to four players can participate together in Quickplay and Judgements using any combination of supported controllers. That means groups can create a traditional full band, play with multiple guitars, or mix guitars, drums, microphones and gamepads.
Online play is also supported through cross-platform online co-op, while online leaderboards give players another way to compete. Those playing alone can experience Tour Mode using either a Guitar Controller or Gamepad.
The standard digital version of Stage Tour will cost $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99. The game can be wishlisted now on supported digital storefronts, with digital pre-orders set to open at a later date.
Players looking to get the hardware can pre-order the Stage Tour Kramer Guitar & Game Bundle for $129.99 USD / €139.99 / £119.99. The bundle includes the official Kramer Guitar Controller and the game, while customers who pre-order through the official Stage Tour website will also receive an exclusive comic book created in collaboration with Dark Horse Comics.
A Stage Tour Band Kit + Game Bundle is also available for $299.99 USD / €314.99 / £269.99, offering a larger collection of hardware for players looking to create a full band setup.
