KONAMI has revealed the English voice cast for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, the newest entry in the long-running Castlevania franchise. A newly released trailer introduces Abby Trott as protagonist Rose Belmont while also confirming Graham McTavish as the voice of Dracula.
The newly announced cast features a number of performers known for their work across video games, film, television and animation. One of the most notable returns is Liam O’Brien, who reprises his role as Isaac, a character he originally voiced in Castlevania: Curse of Darkness more than 20 years ago.
The new trailer provides a closer look at the cast while showcasing more of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse and its gothic world. Players can expect to explore detailed environments, battle a variety of supernatural enemies and face off against some of the series’ most recognizable characters.

McTavish’s involvement as Dracula should be particularly familiar to fans of the Castlevania animated series, where he previously portrayed the legendary vampire. O’Brien’s return as Isaac also provides a direct connection to the franchise’s earlier history.
A New Chapter For The Belmont Family
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is an exploration-based 2D action game developed by KONAMI and Evil Empire, with Motion Twin providing advisory support. Evil Empire is known for its work on Dead Cells, including the acclaimed Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania expansion, making the studio’s involvement particularly fitting for the new entry.
The game takes place in Paris in 1499, 23 years after the events of Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. The city has fallen into chaos as monstrous creatures emerge from the shadows and Dracula’s castle looms over the burning streets.
Players take control of Rose Belmont, the daughter of Trevor Belmont, as she sets out to confront the supernatural threat and continue her family’s legacy.
Rose will have access to the legendary Vampire Killer alongside a variety of weapons, abilities and other tools that can be used throughout her journey. The game is built around exploration and fast-paced 2D combat, while also introducing new mechanics to the traditional Castlevania formula.
Dracula, Death, Medusa And More Return
The newly revealed cast also confirms the presence of several familiar Castlevania characters and figures from mythology.
Dracula, Death, Medusa and Carmilla will all appear in the game, while Joan of Arc and the mysterious Fallen will also play important roles in Rose’s adventure.
The game’s combat system will allow Rose to make use of weapons and relics in addition to the Vampire Killer. Players can combine different pieces of equipment to create their own approach to combat while exploring the game’s environments.
Boss encounters will also play an important role. Defeated bosses can become part of Rose’s Arcana system, allowing her to use their abilities through tarot cards to gain new attacks and special actions.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse Launches In October
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is scheduled to launch on October 15, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch. KONAMI has also announced a Midnight Edition containing additional costumes, a digital sound and art gallery, and an in-game relic.
The game is shaping up to be a significant new chapter for the franchise, combining the classic gothic atmosphere of Castlevania with the experience Evil Empire gained from developing Dead Cells.
With its focus on Rose Belmont, fast-paced 2D action, expanded exploration and a cast featuring several returning characters, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will give fans another opportunity to step into the world of the Belmont family when it launches this October.
