This past weekend, inside a completely packed Petree Hall during Anime Expo, fans were presented with a special panel – “ATLUS Presents: Persona 4 Revival” – and received an assortment of new information from the development team.

 

Panel guests Kazuhisa Wada (General Producer – Persona Series), Yohsuke Uda (Business Producer – Persona Series), and Shigenori Soejima (Character Designer and Illustrator – ATLUS) sat down with emcee and Persona 4 Revival English Voice Actor for Yosuke Hanamura, Paul Castro Jr. to discuss a variety of topics for the upcoming game.

 

Announcements during the panel included the following:

  • English Voice Actor Abby Trott will voice the iconic idol, Rise Kujikawa.

    • Rise Kujikawa is a high school freshman idol who is quickly rising to fame. With her bright personality and disarming charm, she is widely known by the nickname “Risette.” Her grandmother runs a tofu shop in Inaba. Her Persona is Himiko.

  • The Persona 4 The Animation & Golden anime is available now on YouTube for FREE via Aniplex USA until August 19.

  • Current President and CEO of the Japanese animation studio MAPPA, Manabu Otsuka made a special appearance to the panel.

    • Otsuka-san announced to the crowd that all animation cutscenes in Persona 4 Revival will be produced by MAPPA.

 

Persona 4 Revival launches on February 18, 2027, on XBOX Series X|S, XBOX on PC, PlayStation 5 and Steam. It will be available on day one with XBOX Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass and will be part of XBOX Play Anywhere.
