Mega Cat Studios cordially invites players to unleash holy matri-mayhem in Lethal Wedding, a brand-new top-down RPG shooter for the Sega Genesis and Mega Drive, coming to Kickstarter on June 2, 2026.
Inspired by classic 16-bit shooters like Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Lethal Wedding’s story kicks off after a drug ring composed of criminal clowns crashes a bachelor party and kidnaps an unlucky groom the day before the big day. Now, it’s up to the bride-to-be and her mother-in-law to rescue him from more psychopathic circus performers, bazooka-toting bearded ladies, and murderous mobsters than you can cram into a clown car.
Team up with a friend for intense couch co-op gameplay, where you’ll dive into fast-paced gunfights as you juggle mother-daughter issues, wedding planning, the clown cartel, and…literal jugglers?
But beware: the innovative Vow System keeps the stakes high. Fulfill your vows by taking on randomized challenges before making it to the end of the stage, or meet a gruesome end. You know what they say, “till death do us part!”
