Nintendo has unveiled the first cast members for its new movie for The Legend of Zelda. We now know that Bo Bragason will be playing Zelda, while Benjamin Evan Ainsworth is taking on the role of Link. The news was revealed on social media by Shigeru Miyamoto, who said that he’s “very much looking forward to seeing both of them on the big screen.”
Bragason’s prior credits include Three Girls, The Jetty, and Renegade Nell, while Ainsworth has The Haunting of Bly Manor, William in Disney’s Flora & Ulysses, and others on his resume. Nintendo is still keeping quiet about the plot about the upcoming movie, so this is our first piece of actual news.
The Legend of Zelda live-action film will hit theaters on May 7, 2027.
