Worship, the Pikmin-inspired roguelike about building an army of devoted cultists and pleasing an eldritch god, will officially leave Early Access on November 4, 2026. The full release will arrive on PC and PlayStation 5, with additional platforms planned for 2027.
A new trailer accompanying the announcement gives players another look at Worship’s unusual combination of real-time strategy, exploration, puzzle solving and roguelike progression. Players take on the role of a cult leader tasked with gathering followers who are more than willing to throw themselves into danger for their chosen deity.
Much like Pikmin, Worship revolves around commanding a growing group of followers as they explore its dangerous open world. The game’s darker twist comes through its eldritch setting, with players able to draw blood-based symbols on the ground to perform rituals and unleash devastating spells against their enemies.
Those followers will also have to contend with bosses capable of bringing an entire run to an abrupt end. Between runs, players can pursue Eldritch Prophecies, Worship’s roguelite progression system, completing challenges to unlock new gods, additional powers, character skins and other rewards.
The world itself is made up of vast areas that can be explored and corrupted as players carve their own path through a land on the verge of collapse. All of this is presented through hand-drawn animations and a distinctive black-and-white visual style accented by occasional splashes of color.
Worship originally launched into Early Access on Steam in July 2025, where it has continued to build its community ahead of the upcoming full release. PC and PlayStation 5 players will be able to experience version 1.0 when Worship launches on November 4, 2026, while other platforms are expected to follow in 2027.
