Shift Up has released a brand new trailer for Stellar Blade: Complete Edition, giving fans a fresh look at the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 version of the acclaimed action-adventure game.
The new trailer showcases how the post-apocalyptic adventure is shaping up on Nintendo’s latest console, while also confirming support for Joy-Con 2 motion controls. The feature will be used for certain activities throughout the game, adding another way for players to interact with EVE’s journey.
Stellar Blade: Complete Edition brings the same fast-paced action and post-apocalyptic adventure that fans have come to know from Shift Up’s hit title. The game follows EVE, a member of the Colony who travels to the abandoned remains of Earth on a mission to reclaim the planet from the Naytiba, strange and powerful creatures that have devastated humanity.
After arriving on Earth, EVE begins fighting her way through the remnants of human civilization while uncovering more information about the Naytiba and the fate of humanity. What initially appears to be a straightforward mission gradually becomes much more complicated as EVE discovers that the truth behind humanity’s downfall is not what she expected.
Combat remains at the heart of Stellar Blade, with EVE able to chain together fast attacks, combos and special abilities while facing a variety of enemies and challenging bosses. Players can also unlock new moves and weapon upgrades as they progress through the adventure.
The game combines its action-focused gameplay with a detailed post-apocalyptic setting filled with abandoned cities, ruined facilities and other remnants of human civilization. Along the way, EVE’s journey explores the history of the world and the events that led to humanity’s near extinction.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version will also take advantage of the console’s Joy-Con 2 controllers, with motion controls supported for certain activities. Shift Up has not yet provided a complete breakdown of how the feature will be implemented, but the new trailer offers another glimpse at what players can expect from the port.
Stellar Blade originally launched as a PlayStation 5 exclusive before expanding to additional platforms, and the Complete Edition brings the full experience to Nintendo Switch 2. The release gives Nintendo players an opportunity to experience EVE’s post-apocalyptic adventure on the platform.
