SILENT HILL: Townfall has received a chilling new trailer during gamescom Opening Night Live, with Konami also revealing the main cast of the upcoming psychological horror game.

Emmy Award winner Terry O’Quinn, known for Lost and The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, joins the cast as Richard, an enigmatic man who summons protagonist Simon back to the remote Scottish settlement of St. Amelia. His actions set the events of SILENT HILL: Townfall in motion, while his connection to the town and its troubled past gradually becomes more difficult to ignore.

Jovan Adepo, who has appeared in The Odyssey, IT: Welcome to Derry and 3 Body Problem, stars as Simon Ordell. Called back to St. Amelia to “put things right,” Simon awakens with few answers and soon finds himself drawn into a disturbing journey involving cryptic messages received through a strange pocket television known as the CRTV, as well as fragmented memories of a past he can barely remember.

Kezia Burrows, known for Observation, plays Zoe, a compassionate nurse whose voice reaches Simon through layers of static on the CRTV. Zoe urges Simon to “come back to her” and, after becoming deeply involved in the lives of St. Amelia’s residents, finds herself connected to the events that have shaped the isolated settlement.

The newly revealed trailer also provides a glimpse at some of the horrors Simon will encounter, including new monsters and unsettling imagery that hints at the darkness lurking beneath the surface of St. Amelia.

SILENT HILL: Townfall is the next entry in the long-running SILENT HILL series, offering a new take on psychological horror while retaining the franchise’s focus on mystery, tragedy and loss. The game is experienced entirely from a first-person perspective, with players taking on the role of Simon as he explores St. Amelia, evades its horrors and attempts to survive with a limited selection of weapons and tools.

The CRTV will play a particularly important role in Simon’s journey, allowing him to tune into unstable signals and uncover fragments of information. Combat is described as frenetic, while narrative-driven puzzles will challenge players to uncover a truth that refuses to remain buried.

SILENT HILL: Townfall is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5, Steam and Epic Games Store on September 24, 2026. The game is currently available for pre-purchase, with more information available through the official SILENT HILL: Townfall website.
