tri-Ace is giving Resonance of Fate another PC upgrade, with the Enhanced Remaster set to introduce native 4K resolution, HDR support, and performance of up to 120 FPS when it launches on October 29. The upgrade also includes enhanced character and environmental textures, alongside a new option to run the game at twice its normal speed.
The update offers another opportunity to revisit the 2010 JRPG, which originally received its 4K/HD Edition for PC and PlayStation 4 in 2018. Set in a dying world centered around the towering city of Basel, Resonance of Fate follows mercenaries Vashyron, Zephyr, and Leanne as they become entangled in a story involving humanity’s uncertain future. Its distinctive combat system combines strategic positioning, firearms, and coordinated attacks, giving battles a different feel from more traditional turn-based RPGs.
Resonance of Fate: Enhanced Remaster launches on Steam on October 29 and requires ownership of the existing Resonance of Fate / End of Eternity 4K/HD Edition. The upgrade requires 90 MB of storage space, with Windows 11 listed as the required operating system.
