The chaotic co-op horror game R.E.P.O. is bringing its monster-filled scavenging runs to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027, giving players another way to team up with friends for a mission where even transporting the loot can turn into a disaster.

Announced during Nintendo’s October 2026 Indie World Showcase, the upcoming port will bring semiwork’s online multiplayer horror game to Nintendo’s latest console. R.E.P.O. originally launched in Early Access on PC via Steam on February 26, 2025.

R.E.P.O. puts players to work for a mysterious computer intelligence, sending teams of up to six players into haunted environments to locate and extract valuable objects. The catch is that retrieving the loot requires more than simply picking it up and running. Its physics-based mechanics mean that everything from heavy pianos to fragile ceramics must be handled carefully, while monsters roaming the environments can make an already difficult job considerably more dangerous.

Communication and teamwork are essential to getting the goods out safely, with proximity voice chat adding another layer to the experience. Players can also spend their earnings on upgrades and weapons, improving their chances of surviving increasingly dangerous expeditions.

The Switch 2 version of R.E.P.O. is scheduled to launch in 2027, although a more specific release date has not yet been announced.
