eFootball Kick-Off! is getting a substantial new way to play, as KONAMI has added Leagues Mode through a free update. The new mode lets players pick a club from 25 leagues around the world and attempt to take them all the way to a league title, either on their own or alongside friends.
Formerly known as Pro Evolution Soccer (PES), the eFootball series continues to expand its collection of ways to take to the pitch, and Leagues Mode is built around the structure of a full football season. Players can choose their favorite club from leagues spanning Europe, South America, Asia, and Oceania before competing across a complete campaign.
It is not just about finishing at the top of the table, either. Results are tracked throughout the season, with players also able to compete for individual honors including the top goalscorer and assists leader positions. That gives each match another reason to matter as players attempt to push their club toward the top while chasing personal records along the way.
For those who would rather share the experience, Leagues Mode also supports co-op for up to four players. Friends can join together as the same club and work as a team on the pitch, adding a multiplayer option to the full-season format.
The update is not stopping with the new mode, as eFootball Kick-Off! is also expanding its World Tour mode with 13 new legendary players. Among the additions are former Spain and Liverpool striker Fernando Torres, Japanese football star Keisuke Honda, and former Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué.
Players can take on tournaments in World Tour, earn coins, and recruit legendary players to strengthen their squads. KONAMI has also released a new trailer highlighting what Leagues Mode brings to eFootball Kick-Off!.
With a choice of 25 leagues, full-season competition, individual accolades, and four-player co-op, Leagues Mode gives eFootball Kick-Off! another way for players to turn a collection of matches into a longer-term battle for football glory.
