Arc System Works America has opened the Nintendo eShop page for Demons’ Night Fever, with digital pre-orders now available ahead of the tactical RPG’s October 22, 2026 release. The game will launch on Nintendo Switch alongside PlayStation 5 and Steam.
Alongside the opening of Switch pre-orders, a new trailer gives players another look at Demons’ Night Fever while featuring its main theme, “Dropout,” created by syudou. The fast-paced track accompanies footage highlighting the game’s unusual tactical combat and some of the systems players will use throughout their journey.
Produced by Sohei Niikawa and developed by SuperNiche and Drecom, Demons’ Night Fever puts a darkly comedic spin on traditional grid-based strategy RPGs with its Peon Exploitation System. The system allows players to sacrifice their own Peons during battles, with abilities such as Kill Skills and Sacrifices turning their own allies into weapons as they work toward victory.
The game follows Giga Super Death, the most wicked Devil of all, who was on the verge of killing God before suddenly being transformed into a helpless baby. After preparing the “DEMONS’ NIGHT FEVER” resurrection program in anticipation of such a crisis, his plan eventually becomes intertwined with Killshiro Katanaka, a gloomy young man who despises the world. The unlikely pair form a bizarre pact as they set out on a path of pure evil.
Players can also earn Perverse Points by committing various misdeeds, using them to develop their base and strengthen their characters. Abductions and Pillaging provide additional ways to build up the party within a limited amount of time.
The adventure also promises to keep changing as players progress, with each chapter boss defeat transforming the game’s setting. New scenarios can see players taking on roles such as a monster battling Super Rangers or a witch fighting Magical Girls.
