Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games are giving horror fans another reason to descend into the Labyrinth, with a new Steam demo now available for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival ahead of its October launch. Alongside the demo, a new trailer has debuted at this year’s Fantastic Fest, putting the spotlight on the sinister Scarlet Church and its leader, Marlowe.
The Steam demo offers an early look at the upcoming survival-horror action game, introducing players to its original Hellraiser story and the nightmarish realm of the Labyrinth. Players will encounter the Scarlet Church, a twisted cult that has taken possession of the Genesis Configuration puzzle box and intends to use its power for its own disturbing vision of paradise.
The demo also provides a sampling of Revival’s gameplay, including combat, crafting and puzzle solving, while introducing several of the game’s key characters. The Labyrinth itself promises to be just as dangerous as the forces inhabiting it, with its shifting environments creating an unpredictable backdrop for the game’s bloody encounters. Progress made in the Steam demo will not carry over to the full game when it launches.
The accompanying trailer shifts the focus toward Marlowe and the Scarlet Church, revealing more about one of the game’s central threats. Marlowe commands an army of priests, cultists and other devotees while pursuing the Genesis Configuration and the forbidden power associated with it. The cult’s obsession with the pleasures and horrors of Hell looks set to put players directly in its path when Revival arrives.
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is scheduled to launch on October 8 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. The game is priced at $39.99, while a $49.99 Deluxe Edition will also be available digitally.
Players who pre-order either edition will receive the Labyrinth Pistol Skin and Martyr Sawblade Skin as exclusive in-game bonuses at launch. Two Collector’s Editions are also available to pre-order, featuring licensed Hellraiser collectibles alongside the Deluxe Edition and pre-order bonus content.
For those looking to get an early taste of what Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival has in store, the new Steam demo is available now ahead of the game’s October 8 release.
