FURYU has ventured into survival horror for the first time with ANOMALITH, a new shooter that sends players into bizarre dimensions filled with grotesque creatures and reality-defying phenomena. The game is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, with a standard edition priced at $49.99.

ANOMALITH takes place in a world where mysterious spatial anomalies known as Otherworlds have begun appearing without warning. Despite the government’s efforts to contain them, the origins of these dangerous zones remain unknown. Players take on the role of Reona Minazuki, an investigator who awakens after spending 10 years in a slumber inside an anomaly known as the Sarcophagus. Having developed a heightened sensitivity to the Otherworlds, Reona sets out to find her missing friend and uncover the truth behind the anomalies and her newfound abilities.

Survival requires managing resources while fighting the strange creatures lurking within these distorted environments. Players can also upgrade and make use of 12 unique powers, alongside a customizable arsenal of weapons and outfits with different stat-altering effects. The game’s environments include apartment buildings with inverted gravity, shopping streets that stretch on seemingly forever, and dark corridors that appear to move with a life of their own.

To celebrate the launch, FURYU is also releasing a special illustration by character designer MON, whose artwork blends human forms with dark fantasy imagery. The illustration is scheduled to appear on the official ANOMALITH X account at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET on October 28, alongside a post on the game’s Steam news page.

“ANOMALITH is something very different for us, but rest assured aspects like the worldview, characters with compelling storylines, and moving music are part of this title too,” said producer Gai Kidokoro, who also expressed the company’s excitement about bringing its first survival horror shooter to longtime fans and newcomers to the genre.

ANOMALITH’s Digital Deluxe Edition costs $69.99 and includes the base game, an 80-page digital art book, a selection of music from the soundtrack, and the Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office DLC set. Steam players can purchase the standard edition at a 10% discount until November 11. The Lost Property Control Organization Collaboration Set is also available as a preorder bonus across platforms until November 11.

PC players can additionally pick up the ANOMALITH x Peripeteia Steam Bundle, which offers a 10% discount on each game alongside the existing discount on ANOMALITH. The bundle pairs FURYU’s new horror shooter with the cyberpunk immersive sim Peripeteia.
