Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 29, and SEGA has revealed the digital editions available at launch, alongside a new Ultimate Edition bundle for existing platforms.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will offer a $39.99 USD digital Standard Edition featuring the base game and two character unlock keys for Academy Rengoku and Academy Uzui. Players looking for the complete package can opt for the $64.99 USD Ultimate Edition, which includes the base game, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Character Pass, six additional character unlock keys, three battle attire options, and a set of Upper Rank Demons system voices for VS Mode.
The Infinity Castle Character Pass adds seven characters to the VS Mode roster: Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Giyu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho, Akaza, Doma, and Kaigaku, all featuring their Infinity Castle versions where applicable. The Ultimate Edition’s six character unlock keys cover Tengen Uzui, Obanai Iguro, Sanemi Shinazugawa, Gyomei Himejima, Academy Rengoku, and Academy Uzui. The included battle attire consists of Tanjiro’s and Inosuke’s Entertainment District kimonos, along with Uzui’s Shinobi Attire.
A physical Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will also launch in North America and South America for $59.99 USD. This version includes the base game and the Infinity Castle Character Pass, making it a different option for players who prefer a physical copy.
Existing owners of The Hinokami Chronicles 2 on Nintendo Switch will be able to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition at no additional cost through a free upgrade pass. However, the Infinity Castle Character Pass is not included with the upgrade and must be purchased separately through the Nintendo eShop.
