Psikyo’s arcade shoot ’em ups are getting another chance to take over modern consoles, as Edia has announced Psikyo Memories for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The collection is scheduled to launch worldwide in 2027, bringing a selection of the developer’s classic arcade games to both platforms.
Psikyo became particularly well known for its shoot ’em ups during the 1990s arcade era, with games built around fast-paced action, intense enemy formations, and plenty of bullets filling the screen. Psikyo Memories is being positioned as a collection that preserves that signature style while bringing the classic games to current hardware.
While Edia has not yet revealed the complete lineup of games included in Psikyo Memories, the collection is being presented as a celebration of Psikyo’s arcade history. Strikers 1945 is currently playable at Tokyo Game Show 2026, where the collection is being showcased as part of Edia’s lineup.
For now, PS5 and Switch 2 are the only confirmed platforms for Psikyo Memories, and Edia has not announced a specific release date beyond its 2027 worldwide launch window. More details about the games included in the collection are expected to be revealed at a later date.
