After years of waiting, Terranigma is finally returning, with Clear River Games confirming that the classic action RPG will launch on January 14, 2027.

The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, giving players across modern platforms a chance to experience Quintet’s beloved adventure.

Alongside the release date, Clear River Games has also revealed several physical editions for the game. The Standard Edition will cost $39.99/€39.99 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, while the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be priced at $44.99/€44.99. A limited Foiled Standard Edition will also be sold through the Clear River Games and Limited Run Games online stores.

Players looking for something more elaborate can also pick up the $64.99/€64.99 SteelBook Edition or the Terranigma Gaia Edition, which will cost $199.99/€199.99. The latter includes a physical copy of the game, SteelBook Edition contents, a Yomi vinyl figure, a replica Pandora’s Box featuring a music box, a 200-page art book, an enamel pin, and an original soundtrack CD.

Terranigma will officially return on January 14, 2027, marking the long-awaited comeback of one of the most notable action RPGs from the Super Nintendo era.
