FuturLab and Mattel are giving PowerWash Simulator 2 a distinctly pink makeover with the newly announced Barbie™ Pack, bringing one of the world’s most recognizable brands into the relaxing cleaning game.
The new DLC will take players into Barbie’s colorful world with five new jobs inspired by iconic Barbie playsets, including the Barbie™ DreamHouse™ and Dream Camper. Players will also be able to tackle the new jobs with a custom Barbie power washer and character, adding a new look to the PowerWash Simulator 2 experience.
The collaboration brings together the familiar satisfaction of blasting away dirt with the bright colors, smooth surfaces and playful details associated with Barbie. The DLC will feature plenty of nods to Barbie playsets, giving players a chance to clean up a world filled with recognizable designs and accessories.
“Barbie is a brand that means something different to almost everyone, whether that’s childhood memories of playing with the toys, or simply an appreciation for the colour, creativity and imagination that Barbie represents,” said Kirsty Rigden, CEO of FuturLab. “That made this such an exciting collaboration for us. Erika Winterholler, Head of Licensed Games at Mattel, added that the collaboration offers another interactive way for fans to experience Barbie’s spirit of imagination and possibility.
The Barbie Pack can be played solo or in co-op, giving players the chance to team up and clean up Barbie’s world together. And while Barbie has taken on plenty of careers over the years, PowerWash Simulator 2 may be giving her one of her messiest jobs yet.
