HAMSTER has announced that this week’s Arcade Archives 2 title for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2, and Arcade Archives title for PlayStation 4 and Switch, will be Arkanoid: Revenge of Doh coming on September 3.

Arkanoid: Revenge of Doh is a brick breaker released by TAITO in 1987.
The sequel to Arkanoid is back and more powered up than ever! While retaining the core gameplay of bouncing the Energy Ball to shatter Space Walls, it introduces brand-new systems, including branching paths into L and R versions, and an increased variety of items.
Only you can stop the dimension-controlling force Doh, which has crossed dimensions to invade our universe!
The Arcade Archives series is developed with the concept of faithfully reproducing classic arcade games. It also includes convenient features such as difficulty and screen settings, rewind, rapid-fire, and multiple save slots. In addition, players can compete for the best scores with players around the world through online rankings.
Arcade Archives 2 series introduces a brand-new mode called Time Attack Mode, in addition to the Original Mode, Hi Score Mode, and Caravan Mode from Arcade Archives. Time Attack Mode focuses on how quickly you can complete the game, regardless of the score you achieve.
What’s more, with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) support, the gameplay can be reproduced even more accurately, closer to the original arcade experience.
