Naruto Uzumaki is bringing the power of Sage Mode to NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER as part of the game’s latest update, giving players another powerful version of the series’ iconic hero to take into battle.
Available as a free update, Sage Mode Naruto comes equipped with several techniques inspired by his abilities from the anime. Attack-type characters can add Frog Kumite and Nature Energy: Concentration to their arsenal, while the devastating Tailed Beast State: Nine Tails Secret Technique allows Naruto to unleash the immense power of the Nine-Tailed Fox during battle.
The new content is also accompanied by DLC #49, which adds a collection of Naruto-themed customization options for players’ avatars. These include Naruto’s Hokage Cloak outfit for both male and female characters, Naruto’s wallet accessory, Naruto and Minato hairstyles without their headbands, Naruto’s scroll weapon and the Hero honorary title.
Players who have access to the season pass can also unlock the Majestic Attire: Sesano’o Secret Ninjutsu, which can be used by both Attack and Defense types. The update further expands the Scroll Lineup with two new weapons, Nine Tails’ Claw and Water Sword: Tobirama Senju.
The update arrives alongside SHINOBI STRIKER‘s 8th anniversary celebration, which is running through September 24. The campaign includes a variety of special events, including Weapon & Ninja Tool Trial and Ninjutsu Trial campaigns, as well as weekly battles and login rewards containing 50 Esoteric Scrolls and 50 Valuable Scrolls.
There is more on the way, too, with Ninja Shark set to join the game’s roster of summonable animals this fall.
NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with a free LITE version also available for players who want to try the game.
