Pearl Abyss has unveiled a new trailer for Crimson Desert Enhanced during Gamescom Opening Night Live in Cologne, Germany, showcasing new content and improvements coming to the open-world action-adventure game. The announcement also revealed the game’s first discount since release, with Crimson Desert currently available at 20% off across all platforms.
The one-minute trailer highlights some of the additions included in Crimson Desert Enhanced, including new cutscenes and dialogue designed to strengthen the game’s narrative flow. The update also introduces five new voiceover languages, giving players the option to experience the game’s characters and story in French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Brazilian Portuguese.
The localisation improvements also include newly added Arabic subtitles and user interface support, further expanding the ways players around the world can experience Crimson Desert.
To coincide with the launch of Crimson Desert Enhanced, Pearl Abyss is offering the game at 20% off for the first time since its release. The discount is available through September 9 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Apple Mac. Players who already own Crimson Desert will receive the Enhanced version as a free update.
The announcement comes as Crimson Desert has earned two nominations at the Gamescom Awards 2026, where it is competing for Most Epic and Best PC Game. The awards recognise some of the standout games being showcased at gamescom, with the Best PC Game category highlighting titles that deliver an outstanding PC experience and Most Epic celebrating games with particularly ambitious gameplay and narratives.
Pearl Abyss will also be showcasing Crimson Desert Enhanced on the gamescom show floor from August 26 to 30 through a partnership with Samsung Electronics. Attendees can find the game in Hall 09.1, Stand B020–C029, where they will have the opportunity to go hands-on with Crimson Desert while experiencing it on Samsung’s latest gaming monitor hardware.
With new cutscenes, additional dialogue, expanded voiceover options, and a first-ever 20% discount, Crimson Desert Enhanced offers both new and returning players an updated way to experience the world of Pywel.
