Now, Nintendo has confirmed new information about Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, and we now know that dungeons will indeed be part of the experience, but we do not have full information on what that will entail.
Players will be able to do some different things outside of matches as they explore the world to strengthen armies and find resources, and the dungeon exploration will be part of this. There will be other things to do as well, such as training and recruiting allies in Dagsion, and venturing out into the land to fight bandits and monsters, and more, albeit with a time limit.
This is not something new to the Fire Emblem series though, as it has appeared in past games such as Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia on Nintendo 3DS, which also let players fight enemies, discover chests, and more.
