Aksys Games has brought a pair of Tristia adventures together for Nintendo Switch, with Tristia: Chronicles now available in both physical and digital formats. Developed by Kogado Studio, the collection combines Tristia: Legacy and Tristia: Restore, putting inventor Nanoca Flanka in charge of bringing the struggling marine city of Tristia back to life.
In Tristia: Legacy, Nanoca has been given the daunting task of restoring the city within a single year. Players will need to buy, sell and create new items while helping rebuild Tristia’s economy, with successful efforts unlocking larger projects as the city begins to receive more funding. How the city develops ultimately depends on how players choose to approach its restoration.
Tristia: Restore takes place alongside the events of Legacy, but shifts its attention toward Nanoca’s day-to-day work at her shop. With major crafting projects to complete and a steady stream of requests arriving from the locals, players will have to balance their priorities and complete each level’s required project before time runs out.
Both games offer a different take on Nanoca’s efforts to restore Tristia, while also introducing players to the city’s residents and its broader cast of characters. Whether managing the city’s growth in Legacy or dealing with the fast-paced demands of Restore, Nanoca’s inventive talents are at the heart of both adventures.
Tristia: Chronicles is now available on Nintendo Switch in physical and digital formats.
