Bethesda has confirmed that a physical release for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will be coming, and it will be a true physical version with the game on the cartridge, and not a game-key card. The news comes from VGP, who is listing the release date as August 11, 2026. That said, VGP also noted that while it is not a GKC, they were not told if some parts of the game will require additional downloads.

UPDATE: Bethesda has confirmed the news and the August 11th release date along with releasing a new trailer, as well as noting that the game will run using DLSS support on both handheld and docked mode at 900p 30fps on handheld and 1080p 30fps docked. Support is also confirmed for motion controls, touch screen, and Left and Right Hand mouse mode.
