LEVEL-5 has announced Snack World: Reloaded, a revamped version of the quirky action RPG, which will launch for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and PC via Steam in 2027. The game will also be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2026, taking place from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
Snack World: Reloaded will feature a significant visual overhaul designed to make its colorful world feel more vibrant and immersive. Players will also be able to take control of Chup, the protagonist of the Snack World anime, through a new mode that offers another perspective on the game’s story.
LEVEL-5 CEO Akihiro Hino also highlighted the game’s revamped combat during the LEVEL-5 Vision 2026 II Dream broadcast. The action has been polished alongside its presentation, while the controls have been made more responsive to create faster and more satisfying battles.
Despite the upgrades, LEVEL-5 says it intends to retain the wild humor and distinctive style that have defined Snack World, with further details on Snack World: Reloaded to be revealed at a later date.
