Scandinavian folklore-inspired adventure game Hela: of Mice & Magic will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on December 1, publisher Knights Peak and developer Windup Games announced.
Hela: of Mice & Magic puts players in the role of a brave mouse exploring a magical world inspired by the landscapes and folklore of Scandinavia. The 3D adventure will take players through magical forests, tranquil lakes, rugged mountain trails, and other vibrant environments while they solve puzzles, gather resources, and help the inhabitants they encounter.
A magical backpack will play an important role throughout the journey, allowing players to interact with the environment, collect resources, and overcome various obstacles. The game also features physics-based interactions and dynamic environments, with players needing to adapt to the changing conditions of the natural world.
Kindness is another major part of the adventure, with players able to influence the world and its characters through helpful actions and see the effects those choices have over the course of their journey.
Hela: of Mice & Magic can be played solo or cooperatively, with both local split-screen multiplayer and online co-op supported. Players will be able to experience its puzzles, exploration, and magical Scandinavian-inspired world together when the game launches on December 1.
