Rayman will have to wait a little longer to make his return, as Ubisoft has delayed Rayman Legends Retold from its previously announced October 1 release date to December 3.
Publisher Ubisoft and developers Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan confirmed the delay, with the game still set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Store.
According to Ubisoft, Rayman Legends Retold has already officially gone gold, but the development team has decided to take additional time to ensure the game is ready for release. The publisher did not provide any further details about what is being polished during the additional development time.
Fans will not have to wait too long for another look at the game, however. Ubisoft will debut a new “Game Overview” trailer on September 22, with select creators and members of the press also sharing fresh hands-on impressions that same day.
Rayman Legends Retold is now scheduled to launch on December 3 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC.
