ATLUS has confirmed that two major Persona releases will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2, with both Persona 6 and Persona 4 Revival announced for the platform during today’s Nintendo Direct. Neither announcement came with a release window for Persona 6, while Persona 4 Revival now has a May 2027 date for Nintendo’s console.
Persona 6 will launch on Switch 2 alongside its previously announced PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC versions, although ATLUS has yet to announce when the next numbered entry in the series will arrive. The game will feature a completely new story and cast while retaining the series’ blend of everyday life, relationships, and supernatural RPG action. Players will balance school life and personal relationships with an investigation into strange rumours, urban legends, and occult incidents.
ATLUS has also confirmed that Persona 4 Revival is coming to Switch 2. The remake will first launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store on February 18, 2027, with Game Pass availability planned at launch. The Switch 2 version will follow on May 20, 2027.
Persona 4 Revival returns to the rural town of Inaba, where a series of mysterious murders and the rumoured Midnight Channel draw a group of high school students into a supernatural investigation. The remake brings the original adventure back with modern visuals while retaining its school life, Social Links, turn-based combat, and Persona mechanics.
With both Persona 6 and Persona 4 Revival now confirmed for Switch 2, Nintendo’s latest hardware will be getting two significant additions to ATLUS’ long-running RPG series.
