Konami is celebrating the second anniversary of eBaseball: MLB PRO SPIRIT with a free update arriving October 13, giving players plenty of new reasons to return to the baseball game. The anniversary campaign will feature two new Shohei Ohtani cards, six high-grade player cards available through login rewards, and daily free draws that offer up to 140 player cards across two event periods.
The update will also introduce new key art and an updated app icon featuring Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani, alongside special missions, player development rewards, and double player EXP.
The “SHOTIME ’26 LOGIN BONUS” will reward players with two G-III “COVER ATHLETE: Shohei Ohtani” cards, representing the two-way star as both a starting pitcher and designated hitter. Players can obtain both cards by logging in during the event, which begins after maintenance on October 13.
Another major draw is the “24-MONTH COMMEMORATIVE LOGIN BONUS,” featuring six MLB players selected by former professional baseball player Kenshi Sugiya. All six will be available as G-IV cards, the highest grade in MLB PRO SPIRIT. The selection includes Junior Caminero of the Tampa Bay Rays, Cam Schlittler of the New York Yankees, Munetaka Murakami of the Chicago White Sox, Jacob Misiorowski of the Milwaukee Brewers, Seiya Suzuki of the Chicago Cubs, and Mason Miller of the San Diego Padres. These cards are from the 2026 Series 1 collection, with the login event running from October 13 through November 17.
Players will also have multiple opportunities to expand their rosters through the anniversary’s free scouting events. The Daily Free 10-Player Scout will offer one free draw per day during each of its two phases, guaranteeing at least one G-IV player per draw. With Phase 1 running from October 13 to 20 and Phase 2 scheduled for October 27 to November 3, players can make up to 14 draws and collect a total of 140 player cards.
The first Anniversary Scout event will feature special autograph cards for players who received strong support in the game’s Anniversary All-Star Election. Its fourth 10-player Scout will guarantee a featured player from the selected team. This phase is scheduled to run from October 13 to October 27.
Additional rewards will be available through the Anniversary Login Bonus Part 1, which offers prizes based on consecutive or total login days, including a G-III: ANV#1 card. The event runs from October 13 to October 20.
Rounding out the celebrations are special missions offering player development items, including a combined total of 60,000 Ace Tokens, and a campaign that doubles player EXP earned from games. Both are scheduled to run from October 13 through November 10.
The anniversary update arrives October 13, with the various events becoming available after maintenance. Konami notes that schedules and content may change, so players should check the in-game announcements for the latest details.
