Marvel Rivals is continuing its Path to Doomsday event with Season 10.5, which launches October 9 and introduces two major new modes inspired by Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

The first arrives alongside the Season 10.5 launch in the form of Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Infinity War, a fast-paced 2v2 PvP mode built around short rounds, random character drafting, and constantly changing builds. Twelve players will be divided into six teams of two, with each duo battling through death matches on the fields of Wakanda using a roster of 13 heroes from the original film.

Between rounds, players can choose random cards that modify their hero’s abilities and stats, forcing them to adapt their builds as the match progresses. Each team will also receive an Infinity Stone at the start of the match, with each Stone providing a powerful ability that can potentially turn a fight around. When a team is eliminated, its Infinity Stone can be claimed by another team, adding another layer of unpredictability to the later rounds.

The next major addition arrives on October 22 with Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Endgame. This time, Marvel Rivals shifts to a massive PvE battle, with up to 50 players joining forces in the ruins of the Avengers Compound to take on Thanos and his army.

Season 10.5 will also expand the 18v18 Annihilation mode and add the Alchemax Headquarters map, giving players another battleground to take on as part of the update.

Halloween festivities are also coming to Marvel Rivals throughout October. The All Hallows’ Glow event begins October 15, giving players the opportunity to earn Halloween-themed costumes and other cosmetic rewards. Then, on October 29, the Night of Illusions event will introduce an interactive puzzle experience with a more suspenseful Halloween atmosphere.

With its combination of new PvP and PvE modes, an expanded large-scale battle mode, a new map, and seasonal events, Season 10.5 gives Marvel Rivals plenty of new content to work through as the Path to Doomsday storyline continues.
