Jujutsu Kaisen RUMBLE: SURVIVATON is getting ready to throw players into a chaotic battle against cursed spirits and fellow sorcerers, and Shueisha Games has now revealed a fresh look at the upcoming survivors-royale game.
During Juju Fes 2026, held as part of the celebrations for the Jujutsu Kaisen anime’s fifth anniversary, Shueisha Games unveiled new key art created by MAPPA, the animation studio behind the anime. The new artwork gives the game another visual connection to the hit series while setting the stage for its planned 2026 release.
That was not the only new information revealed at the event. Shueisha Games also confirmed that Kenjaku and Naoya Zen’in will appear in Jujutsu Kaisen RUMBLE: SURVIVATON as boss characters.

Developed by poncle, the studio behind Vampire Survivors, Jujutsu Kaisen RUMBLE: SURVIVATON puts a pixel-art spin on the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. Rather than following the traditional one-on-one combat format of many anime-based games, the upcoming title embraces the increasingly popular survivors-royale formula.
Players will take control of characters from Jujutsu Kaisen and battle their way through waves of cursed spirits while collecting power and growing stronger. At the same time, they’ll have to contend with other players as they fight to survive and climb the leaderboard.
The game will support up to eight players online, although those looking to take on the hordes alone will also be able to play in a solo mode. More than 20 characters are planned for the game, with Kenjaku and Naoya joining the 10 characters previously announced.
Their inclusion as bosses should give players even more dangerous encounters to deal with as they attempt to survive each run. Given poncle’s experience with the survivors genre, Jujutsu Kaisen RUMBLE: SURVIVATON is shaping up to be a particularly unusual interpretation of the franchise.
Players won’t have to wait until release to see how that formula comes together. The first public playable build of Jujutsu Kaisen RUMBLE: SURVIVATON will be available at Tokyo Game Show 2026, giving attendees the first opportunity to get hands-on with the game.
The playable demo will be located at the Shueisha Games booth throughout the event. Attendees who meet the necessary requirements will also receive an original giveaway item, although Shueisha Games has yet to reveal exactly what that item will be.
Tokyo Game Show 2026 will take place at Makuhari Messe in Chiba from September 17 through September 21. The first two days will be reserved for business attendees, while the public portion of the event begins on September 19 and continues through September 21.
Jujutsu Kaisen RUMBLE: SURVIVATON is currently scheduled to launch in 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. The game will support between one and eight players and will be available in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
With poncle bringing its Vampire Survivors expertise to one of anime’s biggest modern franchises, Jujutsu Kaisen RUMBLE: SURVIVATON could prove to be a surprisingly fitting combination of cursed energy and survivors-style mayhem. Tokyo Game Show 2026 should provide the first real indication of how well those two ideas work together.
