The story in PowerWash Simulator – Alice’s Adventures Special Pack is that the queen has a made a huge mess of various locations in the Alice and Wonderland Universe and you have been tasked with cleaning it all up.

For those unfamiliar with the PowerWash Simulator base game and previous DLC, you are tasked with using a power washer to clean up various locations and make money from those jobs to pay to upgrade your equipment or to purchase cosmetic items.

This DLC pack features the whimsical world of Alice and Wonderland. You get a brand new outfit to wear in the game as well as cosmetics for your power washer and character. In addition to the cosmetic content, you are tasked with cleaning the Wonderland Entrance Hall, White Rabbit’s House, Caterpillar’s Mushroom, Queen of Hearts Court, and the site of the Mad Tea Party. For those familiar with the film or the book, these locations will feel familiar. There was a lot of attention to detail and work that went into making each location feel unique and special.

The Entrance Hall features slanted doors and windows that lead to a narrow hallway and small door. Going through the door brings you into a study type room that has more slanted or melted looking doors, windows, and odds and ends that fill the space quite nicely. The White Rabbits House has a ton of tea party dishes strewn about, books stacked up, and huge tree roots. All of these things just covered in muck and grime. These are just two of the five locations you have the ability to clean.

You don’t have to know anything about Alice and Wonderland or even like it to have fun with this DLC pack. Though, I will say that it helps to immerse yourself in the world and locations you’re tasked with cleaning. The attention to detail in this DLC pack is rather impressive and really fun to just sit back and admire, once it’s clean of course. Without cleaning it, you’re often left wondering just the item might be in front of you covered in grime. Is it a cup, book, chair, or something entirely different? I will admit, that was a bit of an exaggeration. Most of the time it’s easy to see what the item is, but not always.

Beyond the detail with the area’s you’re cleaning, the game does a wonderful job of making you feel very small. Not in a literal sense as everything appears to be normal size, but the rooms you’re in have huge ceilings and a pretty big areas. Now this could be seen as a good thing as there is a lot of things to clean in each location, but can also be overwhelming. The area’s are so large and there is so much stuff, that it can feel like there’s a bit too much to do. Like they could have had six or seven locations that were a bit smaller rather than give us five that can feel just too big at times.

I can see why they went with the fewer locations and made them as large as they did. With previous packs, they seemed a bit lackluster with the amount of content they have in them. So it seems they did this to show that they are listening to the fans and giving them what they want which is more to do.

I applaud them for listening to their fan base and this really makes me excited to see what future collaborations might be. Could we see a Halo or a Chrono Trigger collaboration? The later is more likely, but I feel like the skies the limit.

If you’re a fan of PowerWash Simulator and are looking for a large pack that will offer a couple of hours of blissful cleaning, look no further than the Alice in Wonderland DLC pack. This has hours of cleaning for you to enjoy. Alice and Wonderland fan or not, I would definitely encourage you to pick up this DLC.
