House Flipper- Farm DLC just like the base game, doesn’t have much of a story, which isn’t really a problem, because what this game adds to the experience, is well worth it.

With the Farm DLC, you get the same great experience with the added bonus of taking care of animals and crops. Just like in House Flipper, you can fix up the farm that you’re on by fixing the barn and the actual farm itself, making it your own; only really limited by your imagination.

In addition to the base elements that make House Flipper a great game, the Farm DLC adds the ability to use a grappling hook to get around easier and also adds the function of building entirely new buildings on your farm. So if you wanted a second barn or a building to house animals, you can build it from the ground up. Both of these elements translate to the base game as well. So you could go into House Flipper and build a small shed or a second smaller home on the lot that your house sits on.

Cows, chickens, and horses are just some of the animals you can take care of on your farm. You can harvest their milk and eggs to help make you money to help fund your renovations. You can also pet them, give them treats, or just sit and admire them. Carrots and potatoes are just a couple of the crops and plants you can plant and harvest. Harvesting things like vegetables, just like with the eggs and milk, can be sold to help fund your property flipping venture.

Because the Farm DLC runs on the same engine as the base game, there is no change with its performance and graphical look. The game looks just as good and performs just as well as its base game. This means, it also does suffer from the same performance dips when it comes to the menu navigation.

As with the graphics and performance, the sound also hasn’t changed much from the base game. Outside of the sounds that the animals make when you interact with them. There is something about a cow mooing in the distance while you’re mending a fence that just feels very satisfying.

The Farm DLC takes what makes House Flipper a great game and adds a farm sim element to it that feels fresh and unique. The elements you gain in the base game from this DLC is enough to make it worth getting. If you’ve ever wondered what Harvest Moon would be like if it were an intricately detailed first-person farming simulator, this is it. As a fan of House Flipper and games like Harvest Moon, this is a DLC that I can totally recommend picking up.
