The adventure follows Frendy, who lives a quiet life with her dog Jazz until she spots a dog that looks remarkably like Polka, her childhood companion. Unable to ignore the resemblance, Frendy and Jazz set off in pursuit, beginning a journey that revolves around exploration, unexpected encounters, and the friendships formed along the way.
Rather than relying on traditional dialogue, Finding Polka communicates through character expressions, subtle gestures, animations, and sound effects. Its world is illustrated entirely in ballpoint pen, giving the adventure a distinctive visual identity that complements its playful tone. Players will explore the map in search of Polka, encounter unusual characters, and build friendships through simple interactions such as high-fives. These newfound companions can also offer assistance and encouragement when trouble arises.
The Nintendo Switch version of Finding Polka is scheduled to launch in spring 2027 and will include an additional stage as downloadable content. PARCO GAMES and lidlocks have yet to announce a specific release date.
