Focus Entertainment and Afterburner Studios have revealed that Elta: Defy All Gods will launch on February 2, 2027, bringing its blend of martial arts combat, platforming and science-fantasy exploration to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The action-platformer, which was first revealed during this year’s Opening Night Live, is also giving players an early opportunity to see what it has in store with a free demo now available on all three platforms.
The demo offers roughly 45 to 60 minutes of gameplay from the beginning of Elta: Defy All Gods, putting players in control of Victus, a warrior monk searching for their lost dragon-god. The opening portion introduces the game’s combat and traversal systems before leading into a boss encounter against Kan Loa’s Chosen.
Combat is built around free-form melee action, with martial arts and magic attacks allowing Victus to take on groups of enemies in explosive battles. Platforming is another major part of the experience, with traversal abilities that can be chained together to reach new areas and uncover secrets throughout the game’s three science-fantasy worlds.
Victus will also grow stronger alongside Elta, with new fighting moves and acrobatic abilities becoming available as players progress. The story follows the pair as they confront the gods responsible for wronging their people, who have been exiled for centuries.
Elta: Defy All Gods will be priced at $29.99 and is expected to offer approximately 15 to 20 hours of gameplay. Pre-orders are now available, with everyone who purchases the game ahead of launch receiving the Vanguard Armor DLC. The cosmetic gives Victus an alternate ceremonial appearance based on armor worn during the Empyreal War.
The free demo is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, giving players a chance to experience the opening of Elta: Defy All Gods ahead of its February 2, 2027 release.
