Bandai Namco has announced that the Tekken 8 Season 3 downloadable content character Bob will launch on August 19 for Season 3 Character Pass owners, while everyone else will be able to access the character on August 24.
Bob returns after recovering from Bryan’s brutal assault as he was on his way to The King of Iron Fist Tournament 7. During his recovery, frustrated by bland hospital meals, Bob dreamt up his own burger recipes, sparking the creation of a wildly successful fast-food chain. Building on this success, he later introduced “Bob’s Onigiri,” further cementing his fame.
However, his journey takes a serious turn when he crosses paths with Kazuya Mishima and his world domination ambitions. Using his food chains to help those in need during times of crisis, Bob earns the nickname “Onigiri Saviour.” Guided by his strong sense of justice—and his self-proclaimed “perfect body”—Bob sets out to stop Kazuya and restore balance, bringing his own brand of justice to the fight.
Bob will be available for Season Pass 3 holders on Thursday, 20 August, while the character will be available for all on Tuesday, 25 August. Bob joins the already released Kunimitsu and the upcoming Roger Jr. and Yujiro Hanma as the characters of the Season Pass 3.
Also revealed this weekend, a new “TEKKEN! CARTOON” series will start airing on 10 July 2026. This short-format animated series will feature fan-favourite characters including Paul, Yoshimitsu, Kazuya, Alisa, and Kuma, reimagined in a fun, stylised cartoon format. The first season will consist of bite-sized episodes of less than a minute, combining cute, expressive animation with catchy, highly addictive background music.
